Its been quite a busy month for me, so much to do and not enough hours in the day or even days in the week. I have been very much occupied with my new job at Hummies World editing their newsletter and designing the graphics. I am enjoying my new venture very much and the first few weeks have taken up much of my time and blogging has taken a bit of a back seat which I have missed. But the good news is now I am well setlled into the job and much quicker at preparing the newsletter I hope to have more time to spend on my blog, could those be 'last famous words' lol.

Easter is now over and I guess we are all looking forward to the big day on Friday, I hope you all enjoyed your Easter Break.

Springtime Freshness - Freebie

It is officially here glorious Spring and I have been enjoying those beautiful warm sunny days we had last week, but today is wet and dreary, I do hope it improves soon. Easter is also just around the corner and I am looking forward to the break, I am planning to get into the garden 'weather permitting' to get some photos to scrap. As I speak suddenly the sun is making an appearance yeah - I love it.

I have some more freebies for you this kit I made for Hummiesworld Designer Collab and is great for your digi scrap pages and hybrid projects too. My grandaughter printed some of the papers last week and made some treat pouches to give to her friends at school for Easter.

The kit can be downloaded at my other blog Wisteria Moments where you will find instructions also for making these gorgous treat pouches. They are so simple to make, you dont need glue or tape just simply fold and fill, I do love quick and simple. Hope you have fun making these, a great way to keep the children occupied and no messy stuff.

Scrapbooking Your Ancestors

You may know from my previous ramblings that I have become addicted to this new hobby researching my ancestors and being able to combine it with my other hobby is so much fun. Creating digital scrapbook pages can be time consuming but it is so much fun and very rewarding.

Should you also be interested in your ancestors, you may like to take a peep at my new blog, it is in the very early stages at the moment so content is a little sparse but I am trying to add to it regularly.

News On Upcoming Freebies

Hi All hope your having a great weekend and looking forward to Spring, I know I am and its just around the corner now, cant wait to get outdoors a bit more with my camera of course. More photos means more designs resulting in more freebies, that has got be good for you. Seriously I have some new freebies in the pipeline which I am really excited about as I have stepped up my designing skills and pretty pleased with the results I am churning out. In the past I have always offered my freebies to everyone, but on a recent subscription to a newsletter email site I now have the option for you to sign up to recieve a newsletter from me. Now I will say I am no expert at writing newsletters, but I think this is going to a fun project and my goal will be to bring to you what new trends are coming to the craft and digital scrap world, so because I want to offer a good quality newsletter my intentions will be to only send one a month, that will give me plenty of time for research and hopefully give you the readers some useful information.

To make this more interesting I want you to tell me what you would like to hear about or are most interested in and I will do my best to deliver to you exciting news on your favourite subject. So now I have finished rambling, the idea is that to get a download link to my freebies you will need to sign upto the newsletter, but no worries it is all free and no catch.

Dont miss out on the first newsletter my estimated date being the weekend of the 12th of March, opt in box is just to right in the sidebar.

Spiral Roses

Hi all, just a quickie today I really wanted share with you again while surfing around the craft world on the internet I found this video on how to create spiral roses and fell in love with as always. These roses seem to be the new thing with digi scrap kits and that is basically how how found this video. I really wanted to make obne of these so I could photograph it to add into a kit I am making. I am kind of thinking this will be another freebie kit not sure when it will be ready though at the moment as I have been really tied up with trying to retrieve all my craft files aft a very stupid mistake on my own part really. It has taken me two whole weeks to get them all back onto my PC so a little advice make sure you have all your digi stash backed up in more than one place, I know that is what I will be doing now, really dont want to go through that again. Now I have a load of lessons to catch up on, anyway here is the video they look so easy to make and I will be having a go today hopefully, if I can get some good photos for you I will post them up maybe this weekend, one never knows what life will throw at you as a distraction from what we would really prefer to be doing I guess you know what I mean lol.

Today I want to share this video with you from Fred She Said, I just love all her products and I came across this tutorial yesterday. She makes it look soooooo easy but I have spent most of today practicing this technique and I it is wel just a tad fiddly, but I guess with more practice it will get easier.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did, it certainly inspired me to have a go.

New Blinkie - More Freebie News

Today I have been playing around in PSE and made myself a blinkie for my blog, it was actually one of the lessons that I am enrolled on. I have been having so much fun there and learnt tons of techniques from simple editing to actually designing my papers and embellishments for digital scrapbooking. But the great thing about the papers I have created is that they are in high res and are also suitable for printing and using for my vurtual craft work. I like so much that I can create something to my own taste and colour to suit exactly what I need. No more trawling the shops and internet for that must have stash.

My next project on the digital side of things will be a new header for my blog, my only problem is that I can be very indecisive and I spend more time choosing a theme colours etc lol. Well I hope you like the new blinkie, when I get really good at this designing lark maybe I could offer my services to others, now that will be a fabulous event to look forward to.  At the moment I am just finishing of my first whole kit, so keep a look out as there will be some fab paper freebies in the kit for you all to print off or even use in your own digi scrapbooks.

Hopefully it will be ready for download by the end of this week, but for now here is a preview for you.

Have a great week.....

No Crafting Work

What a couple of weeks, done no crafting at all due to suffering with toothache and visiting the dreaded dentists chair. Well with teeth now sorted - I hope my Dyson decided to die on me and that was painful, I can I possibly live without my beloved Dyson so having spent all day searching for the best deal it would semm that Argos have it going at the moment. Although I am not to thrilled about having to part with the best of £200 its a great saving on prices else where. So my thanks to Argos
